Järvsöbacken offers fun and varied skiing for the whole family with its 19 slopes, 7 lifts and 1 conveyor belt. The children’s area is a great success with two lifts immediately adjacent to the reception, ski hire centre and restaurant.

Järvsöbacken is situated right at the heart of the Järvsö tourist region. There are plenty of activities in and around the ski resort. The closest neighbour is Järvzoo, where you can study all of the major Scandinavian mammals
and birds close up. Entirely new ski slopes on the south side of the mountain and new chalets for the 2011/2012 season make Järvsöbacken even more attractive than before. And you can get to Järvsö by train.

For those of you who prefer overland skiing there are no fewer than 80 trails a mere ten minutes by car from Järvsö.

Järvsö has a large selection of chalets, apartments and hotels to choose from. Children are guests of honour at Järvsö Slopes and have their own big ski and play area.
