Date: Friday 15 jun 2018 - Monday 31 Dec 2018 Show map

Enjoy a hiking tour to Stensören – one of Swedens highest situated shingle field. About 5 km hiking return. Bring your own “fika”. Approx. 4 hours.

The activity must be booked 2 days before day of setting.

Järnblästen is an old crofter´s holding, still manage by the family of Skoglund. Here is also a meetingpoint for the three parishes, Hög, Ilsbo and Norrbo. Every year a gamebattle is holding here between these three. The hiking is on easy track throw deep forest and opens up when we reach the shingle field after about 2 km. If the weather is clear, we get the chance to see the ocean. We take a rest here and explore the great variety of moss and lichen. If times allow we also experience the crofter´s holding when we return to Järnblästen.

Equipment of your own such as walking shoes, water, rucksack and "clothes after weather" is required.
And don´t forget to bring your own "fika".
